What are Wheelchair Accessible Vans?

Wheelchair accessible vans our company offers are not just a van with a ramp attached or put into the van. Although each type of Wheelchair Accessible Van conversions are different, here are some characteristics they all have in common.

  • The floor has been significantly lower (10-14 inches) allowing the person in need to travel in their wheelchair at all times.
  • There is ramp either in the passenger’s side second row positions, or in the rear of the van that allows easy access for someone in a wheelchair.
  • Conversions cab is either full power or manual. Full power are the doors and ramp ban be controlled by a remote.

NOT ALL minivans can be converted. Only certain makes and models allow for the floors to be lowered. Please contact us with any question on vehicles.
